Boasting a state-of-the-art design, the Sonor’s ProLite series snare drum stands apart from other snare drums in the company’s percussive instrument range. Its maple shell is made using the Cross Laminated Tension Free (CLTF) process. This process provides a wide tonal range with an accentuated and powerful midrange for that added punch while performing. The Dual-glide system snare strainer mechanism ensures accurate adjustment of the snare wires. It prevent the snare wires from creating unwanted sound when they are placed in ‘on’ or ‘off’ positions. This snare drum has TuneSafe lugs for keeping the tension on the rods constant, thus sustaining its tuning. The chrome hardware parts maintain their shine for a long time by preventing corrosion.
